[POSTPONED] Community Meal

Our monthly Community Meal is taking a pause for now.

Community Meal has always been incredibly near and dear to our hearts. But with some changes happening behind the scenes, including making sure our team has the time off and support they need, coordinating, preparing, and serving the kind of Community Meal we feel good about has become a challenge.

Rather than half-ass something we care deeply about, we're shifting that energy toward a monthly Day of Service, where we can continue showing up for our neighbors and putting food directly into the community.

We absolutely hope Community Meal will return in the future, and we're also dreaming about what it could become. Maybe that means someone from the community steps forward to help coordinate a monthly gathering where neighbors simply come together, share food, and spend time with one another. It may look a little different from Community Meal as we've known it, and that might be a beautiful thing.

NEED A MEAL RIGHT NOW?

Our mutual aid meal isn't going anywhere.

Anyone who needs a meal can come into Smack Dab anytime we're open and order the Holy Trinity, no questions asked. Just ask for it when you get to the counter.

Community care is still very much happening here. We're simply changing what it looks like for this season.
